I don't like this literal translation of the English proverb "Only
time will tell". Time doesn't "tell, report" anything; it shows,
or it brings or allows the truth to appear.
I'd prefer something like <Sovlu'meH loSnISlu'>.
If there's a moral, it's that even our excellent grammarians are
not perfect. But we've always known that! }}};-)\
