Update on that business of the Klingon Encyclopaedia:
Paramount have released a list of forthcoming items to be released over
the months leading up to June 1996. In addition to the (still
tentative) announced Klingon CD ROM, Paramount have also included
something else in the list: two new Okrand books.
The first is an actual paper book, the other an audio cassette. Both
carry the title "The Book of Klingon Virtues." The tape, according to
the flyer I read, is to be narrated by Marc Okrand and Michael Dorn.
I do not know what they will cost in $US, but they are due to be
released at the end of April / beginning of May according to the
flyer. _That may be an US release date._
Please keep an eye out for further information, and let me know. The
flyer was shown to me by a sf books/comics shop proprietor in good
faith; the leaflet was a trade flyer released from Paramount to the trade.
I don't know about the IRC channels. I tried contacting the MUSH
through telnet, but it wouldn't let me in.
