The 20th issue of HolQeD goes to press tomorrow. It will be mailed out
(along with this year's *special surprise* to all current members). If
you've let your membership lapse, or simply haven't joined yet, you're
going to miss out on the *special surprise*. This end of the year treat is
included with the regular mailing because it doesn't add any extra cost to
bulk mailing, but will not be included if you renew or join after the
December mailing. So, go to the merchant page and renew/sign-up NOW.
And speaking of the Merchant page, it will be going offline for the last
week of the year. So when I said go there "NOW" above, I meant it. We'll
be taking it down and doing some revamping, and it should surface the
beginning of January with some new features, including I believe the new
book on Klingon martial arts by Chet Braun (with Klingon supplied by Will
Martin and Robyn Stewart), as well as the collection of columns by Captain
Krankor, THE GRAMMARIAN'S DESK. Lastly, HAMLET will no longer be available
on the merchant page; if you want a copy you need to act now (there's that
word again) and order it while you can.
Also to be included in the December mailing will be a coupon to purchase
THE GRAMMARIAN'S DESK and the new issue of jatmey (also shipping in
January) at a reduced price for KLI members.
