I was chatting with Marc yesterday (okay, I was reminding him of the material
he's supposed to be working up for the December issue of HolQeD) and he passed
along some bits of news that I can share with you.
1) Work on the Klingon CD-ROM has picked up pace again. Good news for everyone.
We can all look forward to it soon, I hope.
2) Marc is hard at work on a new project for Pocket Books: a work of Klingon
proverbs! No target date for publication that he's aware of, but I take this as
another sign of Paramount's continuing committment to the Klingon language
(read, perception that it still brings in money!)
Just thought you'd want to know.
In related news, I just sent in the corrected Klingon proofs for issue #31 of
the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine comic book put out by Malibu Comics
Entertainment, Inc. There will be a nice credit to the KLI in the issue, and in
theory they'll be printing our address in the letters page.
