I would have said the same until someone recently pointed out
that {Qapla'} should clearly be pronounced {Qap-la'}. I now
correct my pronunciation of {Qapla'}. When we say {Qa-pla'} we
are simply immitating actors who don't speak the language, and
we violate the basic rules of Klingon pronunciation. No
syllable begins with the consonant cluster {pl}.
