After months of paperwork and really bad faxes the KLI has at long last
established a formal account with Simon & Schuster.
For some months now the KLI has been making copies of THE KLINGON DICTIONARY and
the audio-cassettes CONVERSATIONAL KLINGON and POWER KLINGON available to
individuals outside the USA (whether KLI members or not) for only US$12 per
item.
Our new improved status with S&S should make this even easier, and makes
possible some expansion of items including other Star Trek titles including
paper and hardback fiction, books on tape and CD (including the Captain Sulu
titles) and even the interactive CD-ROM software titles, including the upcoming
Klingon Immersion CD-ROM!
The KLI will continue its policy of making these materials available at a
reduced price, using the discount we receive from the publisher to cover foreign
postage and handling. Specific prices will depend on the demand for items,
quantity of order, and similar variables. While we *will* stock obviously
Klingon related new items (like the Klingon Immersion CD-ROM) as they become
available, we can still order other items which we do not stock.
Please note, again, at present the KLI only sells these items to individuals
living outside the USA. (US residents should be able to get any S&S items from
their local bookstores).
