useless apostrophes

I see a very important use for these "extra" apostrophes. They are
great for indicating stress. A Klingon who has never heard the word
before will always put the stress on the last syllable unless there is a
' in the word. Since English words use so many CV syllables it's usually
pretty easy to just throw in a ' to indicate the stress. Unfortunately,
it is seldom used this way and the only other explanation I can think of
is charghwI''s "only one CV" rule.
Here're a few of my suggestions:

may'qel 'anSa'ra

jan qalI'qoS (I'm not sure where the stress goes)
