 Lets say, just for the sake of argument, that there was a female 
leader. Would we then have ta' (for her) and ta'loD (for her mate)? 
It seems a little hinky...

I can't think of when I'd use it to be honest! Kahless took a mate 
(cf. TNG's Birthright), however, we know nothing else about her. 
Calling her ta'be' just seems wrong...
