The ST Encyclopedia says that Kling is a city or district on the 
Homeworld.  One could speculate that tlhIngan was originally 
*tlhIngngan (inhabitant of Kling).

STE also says they were originally going to call the Homeworld "Kling" but 
they changed their minds because it sounded silly.
