For those of you in the vicinity of Long Island, New York (United States), I
thought I should mention that next weekend, from Friday March 31st through
Sunday April 2nd, I can be found at a convention held at the StonyBrook campus
of the State University of New York (i.e., SUNY StonyBrook), specifically I-CON.
It's going to be a fun convention I think. They'll have the actors who play Dr.
Bashir and Garrack (yes, plain and simple) from ST:DSN, as well as quite a few
other exciting guests. Oh, and me. I'm a guest too. I'll be giving two
lectures on things Klingon. Actually though, my main reason for attending is
because some of my favorite authors are guests and this will be my chance to
meet them and have them sign my copies of their books (for those of you who are
curious, Nancy Kress and Octavia Butler).
Anyway, come to the convention if you're in the area. Bring your official KLI
membership card and come and see me. I would be happy to see folks. When I'm
not on stage doing my schtick I will probably be found sitting behind a table
somewhere promoting the KLI.

Also, on Sunday afternoon, as I head home to Philadelphia from New York, I'll be
stopping in Morristown, New Jersey, at the Morris Museum. There I will team up
once again with Mark Shoulson for the second of our two lectures on Klingon at
the museum. If you're in the area, come to that too.
