Funny you should mention that. d'Armond Speers and I have just finished a
test of transfering a 60-second wav file thru AOL e-mail, and then onto the
KLI ftp site. The file was over 600 000 bytes unzipped. I'd like to start up
another KATE (Klingon Audio Tape Exchange) in the form of KAWF (Klingon Audio
Wav Files [Exchange]), so if anyone's interested, has the equpiment to record
their voice onto wav format, has a fast enough modem to handle the size of
such files, then the KLI ftp could serve as a center for this new wave (ACK!)
of communication among willing participants.
