There were actually two different problems:
1) I had KLI.ORG down for about two hours (on short notice) to install
some security-related kernel modifications. I know it was short
notification, but it wasn't down that long, and this -needed-
to be done.
2) Sprintnet was being a -bitch- yesterday (that's who provides our
net connection) resulting in EXTREMELLY intermittent connections
for almost 24 hours. Things are (apparently) repaired now.
