qepHom (sorta kinda)

I spent yesterday in the company of Will Martin and d'Armond Speers, as I
was speaking that day at the Creation Show in Arlington, VA (though they
bill the show as a DC show).

You'll have to ask them if I did a good job or not, I'm usually overly
critical it seems. I thought it was "okay" and I felt a bit rushed since
the preceeding speaker, Max Grodenchik, ran long and into my time. Seems
he had a song he wanted to sing about inheriting Quark's bar. It was
cute, but following a singing Ferengi is tough.

Anyway, the highlight for me was meeting up with d'Armond and Will again,
and hearing the lilting strains of Klingon spoken by folks more fluent
than myself.

Presumably I (and other) KLI members will be doing Creation shows in the
future. If we're coming to your area, come on out and let's get together.
July is still a long way off, and it's a lot of fun.

Thanks also to d'Armond (and his wife and child) for putting me up for
the night, and to Will for driving two hours to join us.
