Careful!  Remember what happened to the unfortunate tera'ngan visiting the
homeworld, when he got a toast wrong.  (I think they're STILL finding his
pieces...)

Yes, you are certainly right, there is a difference with the toasts.  Our
beloved, though apparently lost, Krankor noticed this too, and pointed out
the QaghHey.  Okrand's response?  The ill-fated traveller on PK who corrected
the grammar.  Krankor wrote a couple of articles about this for HolQeD.  The
first was 2:1 in his article called {Qaghmey}, where he pointed out the
error, the subject-in-object position.  After the release of PK, Krankor
wrote an article in 2:4, discussing the frustrating lack of specification
with the special grammatical rules that apparently accompany toasts, and
discusses the examples given in PK to see what we can learn.

The moral?  1) Never correct Okrand's use of the grammar, and 2) read HolQeD!
