My thanks to Silaruen Half-Elven and the others who responded so 
promptly to my question about sound files.

I located gldwav21.zip (apparently a later version) by ftp to 
garbo.uwasa.fi  (dir: /windows/sound) and downloaded it.  It works 
perfectly and I now can hear Klingon actually spoken.  Thanks again
