Since I now can dial in from home and I'm on the
eventual list to serve as BG anyway, I would feel comfortable
standing in for you during your exams, then hand the role back
to you whenever you feel ready to resume it. I think most of
the beginners are in a similar situation as you, anyway, so I
expect the traffic will be low (though of course, I'd try to
drum up interest -- part of the role, that).
I await your concurrence on this before I begin
answering begining mail.
