Hu'tegh! nuq ja' Mark E. Shoulson jay'?
=OBTW, apparently it's "ngagh", or perhaps "nga'"; Lawrence mentioned that
=Okrand says it's a "ng-". Sigh.
I'm going to avoid the obvious violent reaction, and I'm not changing my
texts (which include a pun in Much Ado riding on naD/nagh) until The Remote
One bothers to say whether it's ngagh or nga'.
=P.S. I haven't been doing my grammarian's task much whilst wading through
=this past week's mail (I sort of hope to get past that mail within one
=lifetime.) I *might* go through it, but more likely I'll just start from
=where I get back on track with that. You guys can talk about the ones I
=missed if you like.
Rubs hands with glee.
Nick, on his first day as an official linguistics student. The garage now
has my Engineering notes (along with my ex's mail.)
PS: Logfest IRC was... interesting. Still amazed that my Lojban was more
fluent than anyone else's, though I haven't used the language in a year.
I think it's timely that we attempt an advanced Klingon-only conversation
on IRC soon; just to see what it would be like. Well, just so *I* can see
what it's like, never having been to a qep'a'. Any suggestions?
