If I remember my English lessons correctly, a haiku, by definition,
should have 3 lines, the first one having 5 syllables, the second 7, and
the third 5. And, I might add, haikus would be great if you wanted to
write poetry in thlIngan Hol [since it'd probably be one of the easiest
forms of poetry to do. :)]
