Re: Bhagavad, Part 2

Hu'tegh! nuq ja' Topic Goran jay'?

"'e'" Datu'laHbe', mu'tlheghDaq "'e'" tu'lu'be'mo' ;) . *'e'* qaSmoH nochta'.
cha' mangghom joj jaH lupwI''a' is one sentence, and 'e' qaSmoH nochta' the
other.

Yes, the more so since you do not use punctuation.

=> =29.
=> =jotHa' rowIj je, 'ej gheghchoH DIrwIj;
=> =*ghanDI'wa'* jIchaghtaH, 'ej tujqu' je DIr.
=> Should be vIchagh.
=moHaqmo' Dalughbej. 'ach qatlh {-taH} vIlo'laHbe'?
=wot "frequentative" vInIDpu'. "I keep dropping G" vIHech.

In that case, I think reH is better. -taH is not frequentative, it's
imperfective. In most languages imperfective aspect is conscripted to
express frequentative, but Klingon isn't necessarily one of them. English
isn't --- hence "keep dropping" vs. "am dropping".

=> =30.
=> =DaH naDev jIQamlaHbe', 'ej jIlIj'egh.
=> =*qe'DI*HoHwI', Hoch vIleghHa'qu'bej.
=> Should be *qe'DI* HoHwI'.
=qarqu'.

Well, doesn't *have* to be, but it would be clearer.

The rest is in the file in the ftp archive.
