Pretty much, yes. Though 'avtanDIl and the mIl'oD veDDIr SuvwI' both get the sun-like comparisons throughout the poem as well so it gets awful confusing at times.

It's not confusing to the reader, because the metaphor is firmly established, but I'm just looking at it from tIna'tIn's point of view. I guess she knows that everyone compares her to the sun, so 'avtanDIl doesn't even have to say it.

Fair enough - I'll try to be more careful. (Though maybe a quickie in the throne room is how she deals with her pain. It'd sure as hell take 'avtanDIl's mind off his.)
