Pretty much, yes. Though 'avtanDIl and the
mIl'oD veDDIr SuvwI' both get the sun-like
comparisons throughout the poem as well so it gets awful confusing at times.
It's not confusing to the reader, because the
metaphor is firmly established, but I'm just
looking at it from tIna'tIn's point of view. I
guess she knows that everyone compares her to the
sun, so 'avtanDIl doesn't even have to say it.
