RE: A request for assistance
I think thr insult is somewhat relevant because the tattoo is meant to express pride in her female ancestors, and this very powerful insult pertains precisely to a female ancestor. ...but I may certainly just be making mountains out of molehills.

Hmm, is it sounding too similar to an insult really a problem?
We must consider the psychological/philosophical aspect here, as the actual
meaning is slightly unclear.
