(And you know, I just have to say that that's a really nice use of the word

The way I think of it is that because {mob} is modifying {puqloDDaj} in the
clause referring to the birth, rather than the one referring to God giving
up his son, I was thinking that whoever read it would naturally connect {mob}
in their minds with the being born, because that's the phrase it's part of.
Actually, now that I think about it, it could be clarified by adding a bit to
it, something like:
{loDnI' be'nI' je Hutlhqu'bogh puqloDna'Daj mob'e'}
his only true son, who truly lacked brothers and sisters
