My thoughts exactly. Klingon display screens would adopt a
"show, not tell" attitude. Why have a wordy "Target
acquisition in progress. Please wait ..." fill the screen,
getting in the way of the target image, when you can have
the display flash red and yellow and two signs just off to
the corner, "Target" and "locked," just placed right where
peripheral vision can pick it up.
