Used in canon:

   'oy'naQ DaQeqDI' mIw wa'DIch Data', 'ach 'oy'naQ Dachu'DI' mIw
    paghDIch Data'
When you aim the painstik, you accomplish the first step, but
when you turn the painstik on, you accomplish the zeroth step. KGT

   'oy'naQ Dachu'Ha'DI' mIw HochDIch Data'
When you turn the painstik off, you accomplish the last step. KGT

Cf. {tagh} "begin a process"

Idiomatic expressions:

{vIHtaH gho} "The hoop is moving":
This expression means that an activity of finite (though perhaps
indeterminate) length has started. It is used to encourage somebody
to make a decision or to perform a process more quickly. (KGT 111)

Note the noun phrase {porgh mIw} "bodily function" (HQ 12.4)

Many use *{De'wI' mIw} for a "computer program"; cf. verb {ghun} "program
(a computer)".
