{QIn} means "message". It probably derives from the homophonous noun {QIn}
"spearhead" - after all, what gets your message across faster than chucking
a spear at someone? <g>
It's also a lot shorter than {jabbI'ID} "data transmission", which has also
been used for "message".

Even if you choose to leave temporarily, perhaps just read the simpler
emails, translate them to yourself, and see how you do. Lurk for a while, if
that helps: read, but don't worry about posting. Or just post simple things.
{DaHjaj DuSaQ vIjaH} "today I went to school". {tachDaq lutvam vIQoypu'} "I
heard this story in a bar". Start simple! You can even do "So a man walks
into a bar..." jokes in Klingon, if that's all you feel comfortable with. Go
wild.
