Either discriptions are difficult to understand, be it "simple" or
"linguistically". I would say you can't pronounce correctly from only the
discription, or the other way around: it is very difficult to describe a
sound using words.
My suggestion is: listen to the sounds spoken by Marc Okrand, and then read
what TKD tells you, only if you have problems pronouncing them.
