The current NON-pIqaD, Okrand system of transliteration of Klingon is the
pinyin type of system, where the sounds are written in an arbitrarily assigned
alphabet. pIqaD would be the equivalent then of Chinese characters.
And the most prevalent syllable shape in Klingon is CVC, not CV. This has
unusual implications in the playing of Scrabble.
