{-Hom} can mean that the noun is small, but it can also mean the noun is
unimportant or minor. If you want to say "small transporter device," say
{jolmeH jan mach}.

We have the following words regarding transporters:

jol transport beam (n)
jol beam (aboard) (v)
jolpa' transport room (n)
jolpat transporter system (n)
jolvoy' transporter ionizer unit (n)

{joljan} is not a known word. I would probably figure out what you meant
because I recognize your error, not because the construction is valid.

Some people may work out what you're talking about, others may not. Seqram
refers to these as "hindsight words": they make sense to the creator or to
anyone who already knows what they're supposed to mean, but someone who
doesn't already know what you want to say may not get it. Hindsight words
should usually be avoided.
