Will there ever be a sequel to "The Grammarian's Desk"?

Short answer: Yes, a sequel is intended.

Long answer: Still, yes, but exactly "when" isn't quite clear.

For one thing, Captain Krankor took a hiatus from writing his column for a while, so it's not as if there's a continuous string of columns (or we'd have dealt with this before).

For another, there's been some debate as to whether a collection of Krankor's writing should simply pick up where THE GRAMMARIAN'S DESK left off, or if the new volume should include the older materials too.

Not surprisingly, this question has taken on greater significance now that we've pretty much run out of copies of the original book (at least in trade paperback format, some hardbound copies still remain).

I expect to have a definitive answer in time for my editorial in March of 2004, though it wouldn't surprise me if we had a new book by then too.

Lawrence
