Of course, it could also mean guildhall, chamber of commerce, etc.

Hard to say if it's "all that Klingon" or not since we only have a single
example of a compound noun with {Daq}: {QongDaq} "bed". (I was surprised
when I did my search; I could have sworn there were at least a couple of
other!)
I think a better model is {chenmoHlu'meH Daq} "construction site" from the
BoP Poster, and we have several canon examples of the {VERBmeH NOUN}
pattern - starting with {ghojmeH taj} boy's knife ("knife for learning")
from KCD - so at least we know this pattern more "Klingon". So WRT a
"shop" or "store" we could posit (off the top of my head):
*{mechmeH Daq} - from {mech} "trade"
*{tlhongmeH Daq} - from {tlhong} "barter, bargain"
*{je'meH Daq} - from {je'} "buy, purchase"
*{ngevmeH Daq} - from {ngev} "sell"
*{DIlmeH Daq} - from {DIl} "pay for"
{malja' HuqmeH Daq} - from {malja' Huq} "transact business"
etc.
depending on your point of view.
