It does validate {qanwI'} though, which neither I nor the original
poster had remembered from HolQeD.

Meaning a good warrior tries to survive their early battles, but
tries to find a harder and harder fight as he goes, perhaps. Or
is there a legal age of conscription? Perhaps the idea is that one
shouldn't die before they reach the age where they can actually
serve the Empire...
