The September issue of HolQeD has been sent to the printer. And there
was much rejoicing.
I encourage all of you to check your expiration dates (er, your
membership expiration dates, not your personal ones). If your membership
has lapsed, please renew at once. It's much cheaper for the KLI if your
issue goes out with all the rest, rather than having to be mailed
seperately some time in October. In the case of domestic members, late
mailing costs us SIX TIMES as much (god, I love bulk mail!).
On a related note, although the cost of annual membership in the KLI and
a year's subscription to HolQeD has remained constant since the
beginning, that probably is going to change soon. Paper and printing
costs have increased substantially year after year. Postal rates are
going up again soon as well. If you want to renew prior to the end of
your subscription period, feel free to do so; you'll get in at the
current rate.
