Looks like you've taken this from the wrong column of the appendix. The
middle column is the writing system we use. The last column is very
approximate pronunciation. "Feed him" should be spelled {yIje'} in Klingon.
That's the imperative prefix {yI-}, for "you-him/her/it" and the verb {je'},
"feed."
See section 4.1.1 and the table on page 33. Can you see how to say "you are
hungry" and "we are hungry"?
