Where do you find the "brush against" meaning?  It's not in KGT.  {ngeQ} is
quite specifically used when something in motion *collides with* something
stationary.

I think you've got a faulty dictionary.  {paw'} is an intransitive "collide"
and takes a plural subject.  See KGT page 158:  {paw' lupDujHommey} "The
shuttlecraft collide."
