I'm not sure I agree with you there.  I supose you could use "ground", but
that makes me think of dry earth.  Besides, it's not uncommon to hear the
bottom of the ocean refered to as the "ocean floor."  Still, if *yav* were
used, it would probably be understandable.

I think you may have me confused with someone else.  I don't think I used
*Hatlh* anywhere in my post.
