And indeed this is what I was prepared to do. Before I finished my
sentence, though, both Stern and Shatner cut me off, and I did not have an
opportunity to recover. Apparently, neither was really interested in
anything I had to say, just in how I could be used as a conversation piece
for Howard's discussion with Shatner.
