I'll be hosting a qepHom in the Philadelphia area on Saturday, December
13th, 1997.
I'm trying for something a bit bigger than what is recommended for most
qepHommey because this is the location is the home of the KLI. As such, the
qepHom will be held at the Comfort Inn in Bensalem, which is just north of
Philadelphia.
Yes, this is the same site as was used for the qep'a' loSDIch, and which
will be the home of the qep'a' vaghDIch next July. The hotel remembers us
kindly and was generous enough to provide the meeting rooms at a
considerable discount and on very short notice.
I have no idea how many people will be in attendance. I certainly encourage
all members within reasonable driving distance to come by. I will be
mailing out reminders to nearby KLI members, as well as sending notices to
the foreign language departments of approximately 200 high schools,
colleges, and universities in the area.
The official starting time is 1:00 pm (though I'll probably be on site by
11:00 a.m.) and will last until we break for dinner or 8:00 p.m., which
ever comes first.
Because this is a qepHom there is of course no charge. Also, because we're
using the hotel, I have no plans to provide refreshments at this time. Eat
before you come. There's a snack bar in the hotel that I'm sure will be
glad to take your money.
I will have some small selection of KLI materials on hand for sale (mostly
intended for the newbies), as well as a number of freebies (can you say KLI
flying disc?).

year's qep'a') is Cindy Rafferty, the Director of Sales for the hotel.
