Think of it this way. Is there a way to say "tlhIngan" in the English
language? Don't tell me "Klingon," (even assuming it's more than just a
Fan thing) that's only a borrowing. There isn't a *native* English word
for "tlhIngan" any more than there is a native English word for
"orangutan." They aren't concepts that were in use during the development
of English, and were borrowed from other languages. Why should Klingon
have a native word for nation-states from ancient Terran history? Only
Klingon historians would even know about them...
