qep'a' Request

One of this year's qep'a' attendees has some professional experience shooting
and editing documentary type footage and has graciously volunteered to spend
part of the qep'a' putting several hours of it on tape and to later edit into a
handsome video package. The only problem is that the camera which would
normally be used is NOT going to be available at the time of the qep'a'.
So... I'm posting this query to members of the mailing list who are going to be
at the qep'a' in the hopes that one of you would be willing to allow us the use
of your camera.
Ideally, we'd like a Hi-8mm camera. If not that, then an 8mm camera, and at the
bottom of the list a VHS camera. And if you've got a tripod, all the better!
If you can help with this, please let me know ASAP (I have to buy the
appropriate film!).
This is a rare opportunity to produce a KLI video that isn't just about me.
Instead we will have a chance to show a nice cross section of the KLI.
Theoretically we can produce a video showing dozens of KLI members, both fluent
Klingon speakers and relative novices, grammarians, project coordinators,
intructors, and more.
