If that's true, by his own TKD description, that could ONLY mean, "What is happening in 
the room?" He explains that {pa} can mean either "there/thereabouts" or "room", but with 
the {-Daq} suffix, it can only mean, "in the room". Note TKD page 27 bottom, carrying over 
to top of page 28.

Either he changed his mind, he made a mistake, or you are misquoting the tape. I suspect, 
he made a mistake.
