I already answered the original question about {chop'a'}, days ago.
Briefly, there's a noun suffix, and a verb suffix, both spelled {-'a'}
but otherwise unrelated to one another.

Was there something else you wanted to ask?  It looks like you have a
habit of answering things before reading all your mail to see whether
they have already been answered; if this is the case, please try hard
not to do it so much.
