The {law'/puS} construction can only be used to compare nouns.
It can't be extended to compare verbs in general.
In this particular case, though, you got lucky: {HoH} is also a noun
meaning "killing", so your sentence means exactly what you want it to.
"The killing of a person is easier than the killing of a warship."
