Yet Another Virus Hoax. Unless you have Java Scripts enabled on your netscape,
there is *no* known virus that can attack your computer like this. All
viruses have to be executed before they can do any damage. (This goes
for things like Word macros too). Now, Macintoshes are a little different
because as soon as you insert the disk into the machine, it scans (and
executes?) the boot sector. Putting an infected disk in your Mac *can*
infect it, but reading a mail message can't. Now, if you got an image
in it to display, or something like that, it may be a little different.
Java Scripts won't necessarily allow viruses to be deposited on your machine,
but there are some security holes there that unscrupulus people can use
to gain information about you.
