pIqaD on PC screen in text mode

I wrote a program. Here is its help file:-
[pIqaD font for PC DOS screen]
Calling this assembler program resets (some high-order characters of the PC
DOS screen 8*16-pixel font) to Okuda pIqaD as listed here. (Those characters
are normally the "box-edging" characters.) This replacement lasts until the PC
is re-booted, or until you change those characters again. It shows on the
screen in those screen modes that use the 8*16 font rather than other fonts
such as the 8*8 font. It uses the "AX=0x1110; int 0x10" DOS interrupt to reset
screen font characters. To make high-order characters, hold the ALT key down
while typing the number of the key <<on the right keypad>>; or you can tell a
program to output them. Source and compiled forms available (as a uuencoded
pkzipped file). Comments and queries to [email protected]

  (1) If you use email etc after calling this program, the display will be
adorned with pIqaD instead of box-edge lines!
  (2) I made up these characters with a font-writing program that I wrote. It
makes 8*16-pixel characters. That font-writing program is rather a workshop
lash-up that I wrote, but if you want it, you can; but I claim no liability
for any results of using it. It outputs each character shape as a hex listing,
which you will have to put into a suitable C or assembler program.
