the close proximity to greece makes these theories all plausible. NOt to
throw a wrench in the works or make myself seem unknowledgable, but
wasn't the area we are speaking of under roman control during the time of
Christ? the gospels could have therefore been written decades later, and
written and re-written so that perfect translation would make it almost
impossible to decipher. Furthermore, wouldn't the close proximity
generate similar language patterns in both hebrew and greek? not
necessarily the mother languages, but the dialects?
jsut wondering if anyone could clear up my quanderies, that's all.
