Getting back to how one pronounces <tlh>....
I was just relistoning to the interview with Marc Okrand that
I recorded off of National Public Radio from a few years ago.
He *did* call the <tlh> an "apical lateral fricative". Then he
pronounced <batlh> and at the end he didnt just "whisper an l"
as he prescribes in Conversational Klingon. He dragged out ,perhaps
overpronouncing, the "h" sound while his tounge was in the
"l" position making sure you heard the salival gurgle in his mouth.
