Has anyone tried to develop a system of writing for everyday
use? This set of characters I see on
          /kli/pIqaD.html would seem to be
appropriate for engraving somebody's name on a tombstone,
but much too elaborate for a grocery list. The characters
for "e" and "w" are almost indistinguishable as shown, and I
think that any Klingon whose penmanship is less than
masterful would also have have trouble with other letters.
          (e.g., a handwritten "t" could look much like a "v", "H"
like "m", "gh" like "S", etc. I want to see somebody try to
come up with a version of easy-to-read, easy-to-write
letters, to be written with simple pen- or brush-strokes,
but if that's already been done, would somebody please let
          it be known?

          Carl S.
