I often see people use a noun as the object of {Hech}. I don't think
that usage is correct. TKD gives the translation of {Hech} as "intend,
mean to". In English, "intend" is usually followed by an infinitive
or a clause beginning with "that", and "mean to" clearly needs a verb to
follow it. Therefore, I don't believe it is correct to use a noun as
the object of {Hech} and the only object I would use with this verb
would be a sentence-as-object, accompanied by {'e'} or {net}.
In this case, I would say:
<paw'> vIjatlh 'e' vIHechbe'. (I did not intend to say {paw'}.) or (I
did not mean to say {paw'}.)
