Clever as it seems, it's been done. The name for it escapes me,
though I know the etymology refers to "oxen" because it is read
and written "as the ox plows". I know of at least one system of
writing for the blind (different from braille) that does this,
and I know that written texts have done this as well in ancient
languages. Surely, somewhere someone is still doing it...

Anyway, the one thing we can not from Okuda's sets is that it
is almost always centered on the line, and when it has flashed
up on displays, it may go center outward or left to right, or a
line at a time, but the lines ALWAYS appear at the top first,
then more is added toward the bottom.
