For the ro'qegh'Iwchab - I haven't tried anything recipe-wise for this,
but I think I would start with beet jello. When I was a freshman in
college, the dining commons actually served this up one evening. I suspect
one of the cooks was half asleep and not watching what they were doing for
the black cherry jello. Anyway I took a big serving of the stuff. Was I
ever surprised with my first spoonful of it. The flavor certainly would
appeal to a Klingon.
For Romulan Ale - liquor stores here sell a concoction called Maui.
It's...blue.
